Rev. Gordon has pastured the Church at Samaria Baptist since March, 2000. He has been married to his wife Beth for 38 years and they have two grown children; Brian and Brooke, and five grandchildren.Pastor Gordon was Saved at the age of 18, Baptized, Married, Licensed and Ordained to the Pastoral Ministry at Sandy Creek Baptist Church of Louisburg, N.C. Before coming to Samaria Baptist he was pastor at North Warrenton Baptist, Warrenton, N.C. for 5 years and pastor at Ivey Farms Baptist, Newport News, VA for 6 ½ years.
Favorite character in the Bible other than Jesus Christ is Jonah.
Favorite Scripture Verses are John 3:16 and Philippians 4:13.
Favorite Hymns are "Shine, Jesus, Shine" and "Great Is Thy Faithfulness".
